Awful Positive: Nothing Negative: Could not check in when we arrived. Lights were not working. House is too remote. Beds were not comfortable. Too many steps in the house. Master was located outside the main house. It was advertised with breakfast included. They promised to honor that, but nothing was received. Very poor!

My only minor concern is the check-in and check-out times. Check-out is at 10:00 AM, and it can be difficult to arrange check-in before 4:00 PM. For a three-night stay costing over 900, this does feel like a relatively limited amount of time to fully enjoy the property. A slightly later check-out, similar to what many hotels offer (around 11:00 AM), or the option of an earlier check-in would, in my opinion, improve the overall experience.

Enjoyable stay - lot's of deer around the neighborhood trails through the back yards.

Communication with the host was very easy. The property location is wonderful and the beautiful deck was a great place to hang out with our pups and enjoy the outdoors. The kitchen and the family room have been nicely updated. The kitchen was not very well stocked for a typical VRBO rental. It was missing a lighter to be able to use the grill, it was missing a sponge to be able to clean dishes with, it doesn't have any ovenware to be able to bake basic dinners with and the kitchen utensils were in dire need of replacement. The dishwasher top rack was in need of repair. The bathrooms were very dated and in need of repair like the sink didn't drain in one of the bathrooms and the downstairs toilet doesn't flush very well. The porch light upstairs doesn't stay on for safety if you need to walk your dogs outside at night and then turn it off to minimize light pollution. It could definitely use some more comfortable deck furniture for lounging in the beautiful setting. The picnic table is also in need of repair. With a little TLC, this rental could be really special and we would return if the bathrooms were updated and some things were taken care of and repaired.

It was very nice we had a wonderful weekend up there. The property was extremely clean. The Casita room was wonderful. The deck around the house felt like being in a treehouse, easy to see the birds. We really enjoyed the wildlife that passed through. Nice quiet getaway
